Helen completed her physiotherapy degree at AUT in 2007, and joined PhysioOne in January 2008. Helens main passion is musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy and is she currently working with  the Eastern Suburbs Premier Football Team. Helen also has a special interest in Pilates. Helen enjoys most outdoor sports including mountain biking, running, surfing and snowboarding. Helen is passionate about learning and has undertaken several short courses since graduating. Helen wishes to extend her knowledge by undertaking post graduate studies shortly.

Joined PhysioOne Olympic Pools in 2003 following completion of her Postgraduate study in Musculoskeletal and Manipulative Physiotherapy and her Masters, with Honours, in Western Acupuncture . Kath initially qualified in 1995 from Otago School of Physiotherapy. Kath is a New Zealand Academy of Sports approved Provider and has worked with Elite Athletes from many disciplines. She has toured with NZ Hockey internationally. Her interest is in Acupuncture, Sports Physiotherapy and Orthopaedics.

Mandy Hackett

Graduated from AUT in 2006 with a BHSc(Physiotherapy), and began working for the PhysioOne group in January 2009. Mandy has a gymnastics background, where she has represented New Zealand on 6 occasions. Over the past 5 years Mandy has been, and is currently the Team Physio for Takapuna under 85kgs and Harbour under 85kgs Rugby Teams. Last year Mandy also was the Team Physio for U19 years Counties Netball Team. Mandy has competed in several Half Marathons and enjoys keeping fit at the gym. Currently, she is studying towards her Masters degree at AUT. Mandy enjoys treating all realms of clients and has a special interest in sports rehabilitation and fitness training.

Madeline has lectured for the International Olympic Committee in American Samoa and Tonga, part time for the Auckland University Medical School Postgraduate Department in Sport Medicine, and to the Post Graduate students of the AUT Physiotherapy department. She has won a Hillary Commission Grant and an Olympic and Commonwealth Games Grant. Madeline has toured internationally with NZ Netball, NZ Athletics, NZ Shooting, NZ Basketball, and was selected as part of the NZ Medical Team to the 1998 Commonwealth Games, 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens Olympics. She acted as Physio to Alinghi (2002-2003) and Prada (1998-1999) America's Cup teams. She was also the NZ Women's Basketball team Physiotherapist and the Silver Ferns' Physiotherapist. Madeline specialises in Sports Injuries and Musculoskeletal Therapy.

Fiona Hing

Fiona Hing

Joined PhysioOne in 2003. She qualified in 1995 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy and in 2002 gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Fiona has had experience in all the main fields of  physiotherapy having worked in the public and private hospital systems in New Zealand and the UK, and has a special interest in neuromuscular rehabilitation and Pilates. Fiona holds the internationally recognised gold standard Polestar Certification in Pilates Rehabilitation and is a mentor and assistant educator for the New Zealand instructor training programme.

Graduated from Otago University in 2001 and joined PhysioOne at Olympic in 2008.  Lisa has spent time overseas working in Australia and The United Kingdom. Lisa is currently completing the Post Graduate programme at AUT, studying towards her masters of Health Practice majoring in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She and has a special interest in Pilates Rehabilitation and has done Post Graduate study in Pilates Training. Lisa enjoys numerous sports including netball, touch rugby, running and swimming.

Tania McNae

Tania joined  PhysioOne  in 2005 following 5 years working in London and Sydney. She qualified with a BHSc (Physiotherapy) in 1998 from the AUT. In 2007 she completed a post graduate diploma specializing in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Tania has broad experience in all fields of physiotherapy with a particular interest in the sporting body. Whilst overseas Tania expanded on this being given the opportunity to work with athletes from many disciplines including the Tottenham football club and London marathoners. A keen sportswoman herself, especially in Hockey. Tania enjoys helping people reach their goals.

Tamara Robinson

Tamara Robinson

Graduated from AUT in March 2007 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Physiotherapy). She joined the PhysioOne team in February 2008, and is now based at the Albany clinic. She is currently enrolled in post-graduate studies, working towards a specialty of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Her main interests are in Sports Physiotherapy and working with Sports Teams. Tamara is the physiotherapist for the East Coast Bays Association Football club's Premier Men’s Team. Tamara grew up in South Africa competing in Gymnastics and Tumbling for many years. Tamara has a passion for coaching competitive Trampoline, focusing on developing Elite Youth athletes in Gymsports.

Andy completed his Bachelor of Health Science (physiotherapy) in 2004 and has since gone on to complete his Post Graduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture, and Masters in Heath Practice - specialising in Manipulative Physiotherapy. Andy has extensive knowledge of sporting injuries after competing internationally in Judo for many years.  In 2002 he qualified for and competed at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester.  Andy has also toured internationally with the NZ Judo Team, and has acted as Physio for Bartercard Cup and Fox Memorial Cup League teams and East Coast Bays Football.

Michelle Bremer

Studied at AUT qualifying at the end of 2006 and began working for the practice in 2007. She has strong interests in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, and has worked with Auckland Netball Teams and Eastern Suburbs Football Club. Michelle has strong sporting interests and competes in half Ironman triathlons, being third overall in the national event this year. Michelle is to compete in the world champs later this year.

Has been practicing physiotherapy since 1993.  She has successfully completed both her Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and Masters in Health Science (Manipulative Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney.  Rebecca joined PhysioOne in 2006. Rebecca has extensive experience in treating sporting injuries, working as team physiotherapist for rugby, Australian Rules football, netball and swimming team.  Through her sporting involvement and post-graduate studies, Rebecca has developed an expertise in the treatment of spinal and shoulder injuries. Rebecca has also Lectured and worked with Post- Graduate physiotherapists at AUT.

Gabrielle Watson

Gabrielle Watson

Graduated from Otago University in 2003 and has worked both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She joined the PhysioOne Team in 2007. She has a strong interest in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and is currently studying towards her Masters of Health Practice, majoring in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Within her Masters, Gabby is completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Western Acupuncture. She is also qualified in Mat and Equipment Based Pilates Rehabilitation. Her passion is addressing the cause of injuries and it is her broad skill base which enables her to achieve this. She has worked with a variety of sports teams including Rugby, Football and Netball. In her spare time Gabby is active outdoor and spending time with her friends. She understands the importance of having a healthy balance in life. Her goal is to help you do everything you aspire to do, to achieve the balance in life you want.
